Bio
Born in Bristol and raised in Devon, Paul was educated at Plymouth College of Art. He studied a general Art and Design Foundation course, followed by Photography, Film and Television Diploma courses.
His first job in the industry was at Paulo studios, on Portobello Road in 1990. Paul then moved on to Park Royal studios in 1993, as well as working as a freelance photographer for Haymarket publishing.
In the late 90’s, he took the opportunity to work as a first assistant for Vincent Dixon in Paris. It was an incredibly busy time, shooting commissions for top brands, in locations all around the globe.

Whilst in Paris, Paul decided to set up his own advertising photography business, shooting a first campaign for Mercedes in 2000. Based in Paris for 12 years, he became fluent in French during his cultural adventure there. However, new challenges emerged back home and in 2012 he returned to London.

Specialising in automotive landscape and studio work, Paul has also been commissioned by clients Sncf and Gdf - Suez for pure landscape assignments. He has fully embraced 3D CGI technology and has been working with a variety of French, German and English specialist CGI companies since 2003. For the past two years, he has also been appointed directly by Peugeot for CGI automotive projects.
A 6x17 panoramic camera still keeps Paul in touch with roll film, a process which he still enjoys today.
A member of The Board of Directors at the Association of Photographers (AOP) since January 2014, Paul is also a long serving member of the NUJ.
